Always With Us

Prayer can’t be taken away. It can’t be given away. It can’t be thrown away. It’s always with us. One of its gifts is the dissipation of fear -- both within and without.

Whatever reduces fear is a prayer.

Prayer is on your mind! Or in your heart perhaps is a better way to express it. I've enjoyed these several posts about prayer. We often limit prayer to a more structured meaning that we have learned in a traditional Christian context. You are opening up the beauty of prayer in a way that recognizes its accessibility to and indeed its practice by everyone. Lovely.

Thanks for this. I really appreciate it.

As for all of the posts about prayer, they all started with a conversation I had with a friend of mine several months ago, but I'll get to that in yet another post.

Prayer is a topic I'm sure I'll come back to on a regular basis here, but I do think I'm nearing the end of this current flurry on it.

As always, thanks for reading and for writing. It's great to have you along for the ride.
