Seeing Beyond Egos
When you try to help me by telling me the truth as you know it, what do I do if your truth runs counter to my own experience?
Do I follow your advice even though it doesn't make sense to me? Or do I follow the guiding hand of my own past?
Sometimes your answer is the better choice. Sometimes it isn't. Either way, the decision is mine to make. Our mutual hope should be that I can see beyond our egos to the right one.

Urn
An aquiline nose serves
To handle all the curves,
With sunken eyebrows killer
Black as any caterpillar.
Tipped sideways, ink spills out,
Or blood, in case of doubt.
Rest assured: the gaze
Has not faded from the glaze.
