I'm behind on my blog reading!! Your entry today reminded me of people who build their homes in a floodplain and then complain about flooding or they build their home in the middle of a forest and then complain about forest fires. When we humans try to interrupt the flow of natural processes, they tend to later interrupt our plans.
I grew up in Christian fundamentalism, went to hell, came back, became a Presbyterian then a Buddhist Presbyterian, and now I'm a profane Presbyterian Zen Taoist -- not that I'm into labels or anything. Here's what I've learned so far: The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
