I should never reveal a magic trick, of course, but since you asked, that's a photo I took while looking down at the upriver side of a lock and dam on the Arkansas River. I'm looking down from a pedestrian bridge that spans the river above the lock and dam. The bridge opened about three years ago and is called the Big Dam Bridge. The milk-coffee brown at the top of the photo is the river after some heavy rains.
I grew up in Christian fundamentalism, went to hell, came back, became a Presbyterian then a Buddhist Presbyterian, and now I'm a profane Presbyterian Zen Taoist -- not that I'm into labels or anything. Here's what I've learned so far: The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
