East and west and south and north. Where we have come from imprints itself on us in many ways. The experiences we have traveled through leave a residue we cannot wash away. Where we arrive after all of these many steps depends on where we have been.
We are always arriving somewhere. Where we go next is up to us -- whether we realize it or not.
