Spirituality Quote of the Week
Our little minds are part of the omnipotent mind of God. Beneath the wave of our consciousness is the infinite ocean of God's consciousness. It is because the wave forgets it is a part of the Ocean that it becomes isolated from that oceanic power.

How beautiful. It reminds me of what I learned about mushrooms. Apparently, the largest living organism is a giant mushroom fungus, spreading over several square miles. I always thought that mushrooms were individual growths, but instead, they are the "fruits" of the mushroom fungus that spreads through net-like filaments underground. I now imagine all of us as individual "fruits" of God's infinite consciousness. Or waves on the ocean--perhaps a more poetic image!
I read him years ago, and he left a deep impression. Time to read him again, it seems.

I love the image about the mushrooms. We think we're only one little thing, but there's so much more to us than we could ever imagine.
As always, thanks for reading and writing. It's always great to see you here.

I don't remember encountering him before. A friend of mine gave me a book of his writings a few weeks ago, and that's where I found this quote. I'm glad you liked it.
Thanks for reading and writing. I'm glad you're here.
