Spirituality Quote of the Week

In my view, the realistic goal to be attained through spiritual practice is not some permanent state of enlightenment that admits of no further efforts, but a capacity to be free in this moment, in the midst of whatever is happening. If you can do that, you have already solved most of the problems you will encounter in life.

I like his allusion to "spiritual practice", for that is all most practitioners ever achieve: Practice.

When one is done with the practicing, one does it for real, and some even succeed. There are at least three historical examples of this.

The practice helps, sometimes a great deal. But the real payoff sees the end of all payoffs, and unexpected entry into the wholly unexpected realm of Heaven.

Since you seem to like 'interesting' things, consider this:
"I think..."
"In my opinion..."
"In my view..."

People generally preface these adjuncts onto whatever it is they go on to say, immediately revealing to the avid listener, that they do not know what they are talking about.

Hmmm.
