yellow leaf,
red leaf,
brown.
Do leaves have
an afterlife?
Do trees?
Do mountains?
And if so, how
will they be judged?
By their leafness?
Their treeness?
The colors
of their stones?
Or are they
already saved,
already children
of the Divine?
