Hide and Seek
The deepest waters of a lake
betray the beds of older streams.
Clouds unmask rising wet air
and the direction of storms.
Forests are laced with natural
paths of predators and prey.
Mountains sit on top
of shifting plates and melted rock.
Silence hollows out an empty space
for the voice of the divine.
