No Room

Tao needs no
room to be present.
Tao needs no
clock to exist.

The walls of space
and the roof of time
are gifts of the Divine.

They make us possible.

White Eye

A window onto
Stucco grey drapes phases of
Wash to conceal teal.

O paisley birds, spry
As lumpy gravity, stab
For sap from redwoods.

Ripples hide the tides,
Twitching at the aroma
Of salty natto.

An electric eel
Crackles vanilla icing
On a French croissant.
