Do you know how many times
your heart beats in a day?
Do you know how many
blood cells ferry oxygen
to every living, burning
cell of your body?
Do you know how many hairs
are on your own head
(bald, shaved, or otherwise)?
Why should I know these things?
Isn't it enough that
my heart still beats,
my blood still flows, and
my hair is less and less a worry?
