Brilliance

The logs are not the fire.
The sun is not the light.
The body is not the life.

So glad you're back! I understand needing fallow time. I stopped adding new material to my first blog at the end of 2013. I started the new blog in January of 2016. I so appreciate your letting me know that you are posting again. I love your poetry and your other posts.

And you are right--I think we have a lot in common. By the way, I see you are in Little Rock. I was born and grew up in Memphis. My mother's family is from the Ozarks of Missouri, just north of the Missouri/Arkansas state line. And I worked for two years for a federal judge in Harrison. So we have geography in common as well as spiritual journeys.

Thanks for your kind comments. I'm happy to be posting again, too.

As for the rest, there's this weird Arkansas thing that I've known about for decades. If I talk to someone long enough, we'll eventually discover some kind of Arkansas connection, regardless of where they live or where I meet them.

This beautiful, odd little state.

Thanks again for writing.
