The insanity patrol have donned Their big shoes and clown tits And with blow torches light Their one-hundred dollar bills.
But it’s really disability money they’re burning And social security checks for the elderly To make way for the young turks Who know how to run an asylum.
Soon they’ll declare a bank holiday And freeze any assets people have saved. One of them is already spinning The Wall Street roulette wheel.
Loud honking of geese driving Packards Scuttles chicken across the road. Some Bozo in a loud tie leers As he lights a bomb with his Cuban cigar.
I grew up in Christian fundamentalism, went to hell, came back, became a Presbyterian then a Buddhist Presbyterian, and now I'm a profane Presbyterian Zen Taoist -- not that I'm into labels or anything. Here's what I've learned so far: The more you know, the more you know you don't know.

The Looting Begins
The insanity patrol have donned
Their big shoes and clown tits
And with blow torches light
Their one-hundred dollar bills.
But it’s really disability money they’re burning
And social security checks for the elderly
To make way for the young turks
Who know how to run an asylum.
Soon they’ll declare a bank holiday
And freeze any assets people have saved.
One of them is already spinning
The Wall Street roulette wheel.
Loud honking of geese driving Packards
Scuttles chicken across the road.
Some Bozo in a loud tie leers
As he lights a bomb with his Cuban cigar.
