No Reason


The battle is always
fear against fear.

Compassion has
no reason to fight.

    Heaven is everything this life is not;
    You need to be punished for being alive.

    If that cannot happen, why live,
    And why let everybody else live?

    There was always the option of mass
    Extinction written into every Scripture.

    You only had to read between the lines,
    Climb up on the scaffold, and confess,

    Or live for three months in a cage
    In the city square, your sins tattooed on.

    This pain proves you are in a human body
    Ready to blow yourself up for God.
