Tied

Untie the knot
in your belly.

Untie the knot
in your heart.

Untie the knot
in your mind.

Untie the knot
in your ego.

Untie the knot
in your doubt.

  1. Nascent Norms

    Here the well-adjusted
    teach unruly

    children how
    to conform. Mediocrity

    Is next to meritocracy.
    Those who need

    to stay
    infantile wallow

    in the sandbox
    and cut goofy masks from

    crepe paper
    and hats that whistle.

    One eye droops
    while the other gloams

    faster than a spitball
    pitched perfect

    into a waffled
    hummingbird.
