No Book


No book has been written
that contains the whole truth.

The whole truth cannot be told
in words.

    Because of its cover

    Or because you prefer
    Only love lyrics
    Or because slant rhyme
    Gives you ear aches

    Or because it’s written
    By an unknown author
    Or because “all language
    Has lost its power”

    Or because the beauty
    Of the perfect rose
    Instead of some statue
    Is what you chose
