Off Balance, In Balance


Balance comes in two ways:
how you divide the load,
or where you move the fulcrum.

    Entropy

    Mercury slows
    Down each vibration
    From strings that level

    The barometric
    Pressure in the lower
    Atmosphere, a tsunami

    Of bruised fuzz
    On the radar, gale force
    Winds eroding embankments,

    Until the upper
    Crust corrodes, once more
    Drowning the commonwealth

    In flaming tides. Take a dip
    In the pool of time
    Beneath this clock face.
