Danger Immunity


No one is immune from danger.
Natural disasters cross everyone's path.
Sickness is the mirror side of health.
Fear begets violence. Violence begets fear.

Like a virus, every danger is temporary.

    Infanticides

    Assad holds himself Pharoh
    Sanctioning his army
    To murder all the children
    In Syria, and dump
    Their mutilated bodies
    To terrorize parents.

    Not even Moses
    Could escape a mother
    Who duct tapes over
    Her child’s mouth, drawing
    A smiley-face heart
    Across the lips,
