Four Fruits


Four fruits grow
on the tree of good and evil.

First is the fruit of envy.
Second is the fruit of fear.
Third is the fruit of innocence.
Fourth is the fruit of compassion.

Be careful which ones you pick.

    Caveat

    The first fruit is abstraction
    That allows you to make it
    Whatever you want it to mean

    Good and evil spoil the same
    Unable to peel the skin
    From any idea

    Choice welcomes illusion
    Replanting pineapples
    In a rain forest
