Forgiveness Is Like Water


Forgiveness
is like water.
It flows to the lowest
places of the spirit,
where the pain is deepest,
and washes out the wound.

    Forgiveness is deciding to lay down the pain someone else has caused me.

    It is an act of love -- both for me and for the other person. And also for the planet, since every act of forgiveness removes a little pain from the world.
