Enough to Do Anything

One friend is a start.
Two friends are a tribe.
Three friends are a committee.
A dozen friends are enough to do anything.

  1. “Throw My Country to the Wind”

All too easy to seize the passport
Of a nearly blind and elderly poet,

    A woman who bequeaths honey
    From wind, Simin Behbahani,

Confined to house arrest by men
Who would stone the lioness of Iran.
