On Sparrows


Sparrows peck at the dirt under a tree and fly away into its branches like escaping criminals when I walk past. Which is more stunning? That the Tao sustains them in their daily life? Or that they exist at all?

How miraculously small we are.

    We are itty bitty brilliant flakes, can't hardly look at one of us directly, even for one moment...
