No Answer

No answer is sometimes the answer.
Too many answers are sometimes no answer.

When you ask a troubling question
and no answers satisfy, look inside.

Rebirth

Before they hit the ground
Raindrops bloat in swirls
Of bulging lozenges, tides
Pulsing against thin membranes.

Their lives ache to taste salt
And dissolve beneath the sun,
Sucked back by a reverse gravity
To be recycled as clouds.

Each time, some trace element
Conjoins with the earth below,
While only slivers of identity
Are ever returned to the heavens.
